Is there a dismissal plan for car riders?

At Castle Heights Upper Elementary School, we are concerned with the safety of our students.
For this reason we are making a few requests of you concerning car dismissal. There will be two car lanes in the pick up.
This will leave the middle lane open. If you are the first person in either lane, pull all the way to the end of the median.
Each car that follows needs to pull all the way down to the car in front. We will load students back to the curve in both
lanes. A signal will be given for cars to move forward one lane at a time. Once the cars start moving, students will not be
permitted to load. If your child did not get in your car the first time, then you will need to get in line to pull around again.
Cars need to keep moving until you are told to stop. Please remain in your car; we will get your child to you. When all
cars are stopped, we will begin loading. We will continue this procedure until 3:15. At this time any students that have
not been picked up will need to go to the front office to wait. Please do not park in either of the parking lots and expect your
child to come to you this is dangerous for the students as well as the drivers.
