I am a graduate of the Lexington City Schools and Lexington High School. My
undergraduate degree is in Psychology from Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk,
NC. I attended MTSU for my teacher certification in Secondary Psychology,
Sociology, History and Math, and graduate school at Vanderbilt University in
guidance and counseling. Most recently, I added my endorsement in Special
Education at UT Martin. Obviously, I love going to school!
I have 4 children. Wes is in 8th grade and Leigh in the 7th grade at LMS.
Matt is in the 5th grade at Caywood Elementary. My oldest son, Michael is a
graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.
This is my 6th year to teach at LMS. I previously taught 3 years of Jr. High
Math, Science and History and 7 years of Algebra at Father Ryan High School in
Nashville. I love being back home and teaching in the best school
system in the world!
