What is the role of the Special Education Teacher in the regular classroom?
An effective inclusion model has the general education teacher and special education teacher working together as a team. This team will have high expectations and goals for all of the students. While both members collaborate to meet academic and social/emotional needs of the students, the role of the inclusion teacher is to implement curriculum, strategies, and assessment modifications as necessary in order to reach IEP goals.Back to Top
