January 4-15, 2010,
Hope everyone had a great and blessed Christmas! We are now on Chapter 7,
"Understanding Weather". Parents please encourage your child to watch the
weather portion of the nightly news and ask them to discuss with you portions
that they recall from class. This greatly reinforces what we are studying in
class. I am allowing two weeks to complete this chapter due to weather
related school closings. Hopefully we will finish the chapter with a test by
January 15. Students will be doing their section corresponding worksheets as
we read each section of the chapter. Students are greatly encouraged to USE
THEIR BOOK for answers.
