How many books can my child check out?

All students may check out 2 books, as long as the parents have filled out a 
Library Loan Agreement.  This is given to each child at the beginning of the 
year along with other forms to be filled out and returned.

When does my child go to the library?

Students will have access to the library formally once a week to check out 
books and have a library lesson. There are also open check out times posted 
outside the library door.

When are the books due?

Books may be checked out for 2 weeks.  The student may renew the book if 
he/she needs more time to read the book.

How do I know if the book is AR?

The books at Livingston Middle School are coded with an orange sticker on 
the spine.

What to do about a lost or damaged book?

If a book is lost or damaged, please see the librarian for the cost of 
replacement for the book.
