FREE PIZZA!
During the months of
October through March
, 5th and 6th grade students will be participating in the
Book It Program
sponsored by
Pizza Hut
. This program is designed for our fifth and sixth grade students. If they meet their reading goal each month, they will receive a certificate for a free personal pan pizza.
5th grade the goal is
4
books per month.
6th grade the goal is
5
books per month.
Just bring your list of books read to Mrs. Dailey in the Library
during your library time and you will receive your certificate for a free pizza.
SIX FLAGS SIX HOUR READING CLUB
Our 5th and 6th grade students are participating in the Six Flags Six Hour Reading Club. Every student who competes six hours of recreational reading before FEBRUARY 26 is eligible for a free admission ticket valid at participating Six Flags theme parks. A reading log was sent home to record what and how long he/she reads. Your child can read books, magazines, newspapers, or comic books. Homework does not count.
The ticket is valid for admission from June 14 through August 8, 2010. Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets cannot be replaced.
Deadline is
February 26
to turn in reading logs for Six Flags. Please turn logs in to Mrs. Dailey in the library.
