My name is Ginger Murphy Higgs. I am a native of Martin, Tennessee. I
graduated from The University of Tennessee at Martin in December 1996. I
began my teaching career in January 2002 at Martin Primary School. I taught
2 1/2 years in second grade and I am currently in my fourth year teaching
kindergarten.
I am married to Mike Higgs. We have four beautiful children. Courtney is
28 and just graduated from UTM. Camille is 23 and is a graduate of UTM as
well. Mary Elizabeth is 9 years old and a 3rd grader at Martin
Elementary School and Murphy is 6 years old and just entered kindergarten at
Martin Primary School. Outside of school, my family keeps me VERY busy and
entertained. Oh, I can't forget my dog, Dutchess Maddie Belle, AKA Belle.
She is our Imperial Shih Tzu and looks just like Gizmo from Gremlins.
I wish for every student in my classroom to feel successful!!!
