My name is Ginger Murphy Higgs. I am a native of Martin, Tennessee. I
graduated from The University of Tennessee at Martin in December 1996. I
began my teaching career in January 2002 at Martin Primary School. I taught
2 1/2 years in second grade and I am currently in my sixth year teaching
kindergarten.
I have two beautiful children. Mary Elizabeth is 10 years old and a 5th
grader at Martin Elementary School and Murphy is 7 years old and a 2nd grader
at Martin Primary School. Outside of school, my family keeps me VERY busy
and entertained. Oh, I can't forget my dogs, Dutchess Maddie Belle, AKA
Belle, she is our Imperial Shih Tzu and looks just like Gizmo from Gremlins,
Tippie who is our Lassie Collie and Max who is our Chocolate Labrador
Retreiver (this is the doggie that minds).
