I am originally from Nashville but moved to Martin to go to college. I have
been married to George Evans for 34 years and have 2 children: Anna Evans
Watson (26 yrs. old) and Jason Evans (20 years old). Anna is a nurse at
Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and Jason is an engineering student at UTM.
George is a regional manager for Tennessee Farmer's Cooperative. We have a
poodle named Tommy. We are expecting our first grandchild in December and we
can hardly wait!
I have taught special education for 34 years and I love what I teach! My
teaching assignment is 2nd Grade Resource and the Gifted class (CLUE).I
have a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.S. in curriculum and instruction
and special education. I also completed 15+ hours above my Master's Degree.I
am a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Honorary Teacher's Sorority.
I most enjoy the fall season and my hobbies are reading, camping, knitting,
and crocheting . I enjoy going on vacations with my family, too. Singing in
the church choir is something that I look forward to each week.
