My name is Lesley Sawyers. I am from Gleason, TN. I graduated from UTM in
May 2007. I live in Martin with my cat, Lila. My mother has been a teacher
at Gleason for almost 30 years. She is what inspired me to become a
teacher. I enjoy watching movies, going out to eat, and laying by the pool.
As a teacher, I expect my students to have a positive attitude and be
honest. The students will show respect to their fellow students and faculty
at all times. I believe that school is not only a place for a child to grow
mentally and academically but also socially. My goal is to allow every
student the opportunity to learn material in a way that they can
comprehend. I believe students will succeed better if they are active in
their education. The atmosphere in my classroom will promote positive
learning and be intriguing for the students.
