I am 35 years old and live in Gleason. I did not grow up there although
most of my family is from Gleason and Dresden. My alma mater is
Huntingdon High School. I am married to David Vaughn,Jr. He works at Unimin
Inc.(one of the clay companies in Gleason). We are proud parents of a baby
girl, Chloe Jo and four cats named Hazy, Fozzie, Toot, and Buzz.
I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1996 with K-8
certification. I completed my Masters in Education in 2001 at Bethel
College in McKenzie, Tennessee.
I have been teaching in Weakley County for thirteen years. I love
teaching Kindergarten! I always knew growing up that I wanted to teach
school. Teaching is one of my greatest passions aside from my relationship
with God, and my family. I also enjoy reading, jigsaw puzzles, gardening,
working on my home and yard, camping, and spending time at home with my
family.
