How old does my child have to be to attend preschool?

Your child must be 4 years old on or before September 30th. They must not be 
5 years old and able to attend kindergarten.

What forms do I need for my child?

You will need to complete an application, and your child must be accepted. 
If your child is accepted, you must provide a copy of your child's certified
birth certificate. The mother's copy of the birth certificate is not
sufficient for our program. If you do not have a copy of your child's birth
certificate, one can be obtained at the Weakley County Health Department in
Dresden for a small fee. You must also provide a copy of your child's social
security card, and a Tennessee Preschool form completed for both the
immunization and the physical exam from the doctor or health department.

When do children come to school?

Preschool has the same schedule and holidays as the rest of Weakley County 
Schools.

How long is the school day?

Students arrive at 7:25 a.m. and dismiss by 2:00p.m.

Can my preschool child ride the bus?

No. You must provide transportation for you child both to and from school.

Can they attend the before and after school daycare program?

No. Our program is not liscensed for four year olds.
