As preschoolers, my students' only homework is to talk with their parents
every evening to let them know what it is we are learning in class.
Here are just a few things students must learn before entering kindergarten:
- First, Middle, and Last Name
- Parent's Name
- Phone number
- Address
- Colors(Red, yellow, green, blue, orange, purple, brown, black, pink, white)
- Shapes( Circle, square, triangle, rectangle, diamond)
- Counting and recognizing (1-30)
- How to say (not sing)and recognize the alphabet
- How to write their name
- Parts of the body
* By working on these things at home with your child, you can help to
reinforce the things they are learning in preschool!
