November Events:
Wow, it's already November! This month we will learn many fun and
interesting things. We will study the life and customs of the Pilgrims and
Native Americans. The children will learn how diffcult life for these
people could be. We will also read many story selections about the First
Thanksgiving.
We have enjoyed studying seeds, plants, stems and roots. We are growing
plants and seeds in our classroom and the children are amazed at this
process. They will be bringing these home very soon to share with you.
The second six weeks will end this Friday, November 6th and report cards
will be sent home on Thursday November 12th. This time grades will be
reported as A,B,C,D, or F. Please be watching for cards to come home in
your child's folder. Check your child's progress and return the card signed
to school the next day. If you have any concerns or questions, please
contact me.
Our Thanksgiving Break is just around the corner. The students will be out
of school November 25 through the 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday.
