My name is Stacye Fisher. I have been teaching school for 23 years.
Most of my teaching experience has been in first grade. I have also taught
second and fourth grades. The thing I love most about first grade is
teaching reading. It is very rewarding to watch a child learn sounds and
put them together to make words. They get excited and so do I! I love
children and working with them on a daily basis. It is a job that is never
boring and the students make it all so reawarding! Teaching is a very unique
job to have.
I am married to James Fisher and have two sons, Bryant and Andrew.
Both of my boys are now in college. Bryant will be a sophmore at UTM
this year. Andrew will be attending Bethel University. He will join the
baseball team and play for the Behtel Wildcats. Much of my out of school
time will be spent going to baseball games.
I am a member of First United Methodist Church. I serve as a counselor
to the youth, grades 6- 12, in our church. I truly enjoy being around the
youth and watching them grow spiritually.
