My name is Stacye Fisher. I have been teaching school for 22 years.
Most of my teaching experience has been in first grade. I have also taught
second and fourth grades. The thing I love most about first grade is
teaching reading. It is very rewarding to watch a child learn sounds and
put them together to make words. They get excited and so do I! I love
children and working with them on a daily basis is a very special job to
have.
I am married to James Fisher and have two sons, Bryant and Andrew.
Both of my boys attend Westivew High School. Bryant is a Senior and will be
graduating this year. Andrew is a Junior. They both play baseball for
Westiview. Much of my out of school time is spent going to baseball games
and cheering on the chargers.
I am a member of First United Methodist Church. I serve as a counselor
to the youth, grades 6- 12, in our church. I truly enjoy being around the
youth and watching them grow spiritually.
