| School is now open and our classroom of learners is anxious to learn. Mrs.
Hockert will tell the class about her trip to the IEARN (International
Education and Resource Network) Conference and Youth Summit held in Cairo,
Egypt this summer. Our PTA is very active and there is a membership drive on
to get parents involved in school. This year we will also be working with
our Trucker Buddy Bonnie, Flat Stanley, and engaged in several IEARN
Projects such as the Natural Disaster Youth Summit and Learning Circles. We
are looking forward to another exciting year.
