Mrs. Hockert has taught kindergarten, third grade, fifth grade, and second
grade. In addition Mrs. Hockert has taught the computer lab for students in pre-k through fifth
grade. During the summer months Mrs. Hockert has taught in a gifted program and conducted
reading and math interventiion programs. Mrs. Hockert is a global traveler and enjoys collaborating
with teachers and students on projects around the world. These collaborations have enabled me to
attend conferences on Natural Disasters in Japan and various IEARN Conferences around the globe
including Cairo, Egypt in July 2007. At this conference I showcased student artwork and a 4ft by 6ft
original artwork created on the Two Rivers Project about the Tennessee have also presented student
work at NECC (National Educational Computing conference) in Atlanta on June 26, 2007. Mrs.
Hockert has also hosted teachers from Japan, Jordan, Morocco, and Nepal.
The class mission is that there are no boundaries to learning.
