Discipline Policy
First Grade
Of course, I always use positive reinforcement throughout the day. We have
treasure chest toys, "big math and science sheets," stickers, and many other
rewards. However, if a misbehavior occurs, then students must pull a colored
card that equals a consequence for their behavior. The consequences are as
follows:
*1. Card One- 10 minutes off recess
*2. Card Two- 20 minutes off recess
*3. Card Three- All recess plus a standards based assignment
*4. Last Card- Mr. Bailey and parents notified immediately
