Wednesday, Dec. 16th: Stocking Stuffers due.
Thursday, Dec. 17th: Wear your pjs and watch the Polar Express!
Friday, Dec. 18th: Christmas Party at 8:00 am We will have a breakfast
party for Christmas. Please remember to send your food items that day.
Parents, please come and eat with us! School will dismisss at 11:30. No
lunch will be served that day.
Remember to turn in your homework folder on Friday.
Reading:
We have two new “popcorn” words this week. Also, your child will be working
on learning the sound of two letters this week. The letters are “d”
and “k.” Have your child tell you the sounds for the letters “d” and “k.”
Ask your child to list things that begin with the “d” and “k” sound.
We are also reading words that contain the letters that we have been
studying. Please help your child practice “sounding out” and reading these
words at home.

We are finishing our chapter on geometry and fractions. We will begin
humbers 10-30 when we return from the Christmas Holidays.
