Do I pay the teacher ice cream money in third grade?

NO, each student will be responsible for paying daily his/her own ice cream 
money.

Can my student visit the snack machine in the morning?

No, it is against state regulations.  Only after lunch may they visit the 
snack machine at their designated recess time. (times differ per grade 
levels)

May I purchase a binder to help organize my child for third grade?

Please NO! We have very little room in our desks. Space is very limited and 
we have separate folders per subject that will be issued for the year to 
each child. These folders take up less space and help organize each child.

May I send a soft drink (coke) to school with my child?

No, it isn't approved as healthy by the state. Not even with their lunch!

Do I need to send a note about my child going home differently?

Yes...please! This provides documentation to the teacher and school that we
have your permission for this change to happen.  If a note isn't sent, we send
them home as usual.
