We only have 4 days of school until Christmas break! The time is flying.
Our Christmas party will be Friday, December 18th at 8:00am. All parents are
welcome to come. We will have a book exchange this year. Please send a
wrapped $5.00 book by 12-16-09 for our exchange.
We will be taking our Reading vocabulary and comprehension test Thursday this
week.
WHAT WE ARE LEARNING THIS WEEK:
READING - cause and effect; comparative words (er and est)
MATH - subtraction, congruent shapes, adding two0digit numbers
LANGUAGE ARTS - verbs - helping, linking, and verb tenses
SCIENCE - Changes on Earth - weather, clouds,etc. - test Wednesday
SOCIAL STUDIES - Continents, oceans, the Earth - test Tuesday
