What time does my preschooler need to be at school ?
Students may begin arriving at 7:30 a.m. at the back door of the
school near the cafeteria. Preschool parents must park their
cars and walk their children into the bldg. and sign them in at
the cafeteria. Please have your child here by 7:50 A.M. The back
door will be locked at 7:50 A.M. and it will be necessary for you
to go to the front of the school/office after that time and sign
in at the office.
What time is my preschooler out of school ?
2:30 P.M. We dismiss our 4 year old at 2:30 in order to get them
signed out and loaded safely before kindergarten parents arrive
for regular school dismissal at 2:50.
What supplies does my preschooler need for school?
Your child will need a bookbag, a blanket or beach size towel for
rest time and a change of clothes. Everything else (crayons,
scissors, glue, pencils, paper, art supplies, rest time mats,
etc) is furnished by the preschool program!
What curriculum is used in preschool?
We are currently using the Letter People curriculum which uses
puppets to emphasize letters of the alphabet, sounds of letters,
as well as incooperates math, science, social studies and health
into the children's learning. Our program emphasizes learning
through "hands on" experiences in learning centers, such as: art,
music, home living, blocks, science, water and sand, puzzles and
manipulatives, computer, books, puppets, and much more!
When should I register my 4 year old preschooler???
Please call the school in JANUARY to let them know you are interested
in registering your child. They will take your name and number and
you will be called when we have registration! It is IMPORTANT
that you call early.
