Counseling Services
Teachers and Parents are welcome to make referrals to me at any time. Teachers
use a standardized form or make personal contact with me. Parents may call to
schedule an appointment or discuss their child's progress and/or problems with
me at any time. Please remember that I can only speak with the legal guardian.
I offer individual and group sessions as well as classroom lessons.
Classroom Lessons
I am in the classrooms every week with each grade including Mrs. Fowler and
Mrs. Hall's classes. The lesson topics include Character Education, decision
making skills, bullying prevention, alcohol and drug awareness, conflict
resolution and other topics suggested by teachers.
Small Group Counseling Sessions
I am offering small group counseling in impulse control, anger management, and
self esteem as well as other topics this year. Teachers have identified
students who would benefit from these topics. I will contact parents for
permission for any group sessions.
Doc Reedy
I am pleased to announce Doc Reedy will be working with our students again
this year. Doc Reedy is a licensed clinical social worker. He is available
to meet with your child, your child's teacher and you on an as needed basis.
Remember permission must be granted by the legal parent/guardian for Doc Reedy
to speak with your child. Permission slips may be requested or printed from
the printable forms section of this site.
