| Grading Policies for Math:
Tests: Tests count as 60% of the final 6 weeks grade. We usually have 2 test
grades but sometimes we will have 3. The students take 2 tests after every 5
lessons. They will take a Test A and a Test B. I take the higher grade of the
two tests.
Quizzes: Quizzes count as 15% of the final 6 weeks grade. We usually take one
quiz every six weeks. The students are notified one week in advance of the
date of the quiz.
Homework: Homework counts as 25% of the final 6 weeks grade. Your child will
have homework almost every night. I will allow students to go to their lockers
and get their homework if they forget to bring it with them to class.
If a student does not turn in his/her assignment on the day it is due, then
he/she will get a zero on that assignment. I do not accept late work, because
students have a study hall at the end of the day.
I do not give out extra credit work.
Grading Policies for Reading:
All reading grades are averaged the same for one final grade.
