Fourth grade classes will be learning all about diabetes.  I am helping them understand that diabetes is not contagious and why one of our fourth grade students has to have a shot every day.  We will watch a DVD from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation called "You can't catch diabetes from a friend."
