Please check your child's agenda daily. Check for any notes home under the
paperclip. If you have any notes for me, please put them under the
paperclip. Always leave the paperclip in the agenda.
A Weekly Newsletter will come home each week with daily assignments in
reading. This will usually be reading in one of three books--a Leveled
reader, a practice skill reader, and the story in the reading book. These
can be reread to provide great practice. Your child will also read to me
during the week to assess their progress in reading and fluency.
Also, please check your child's Daily Folder each day. Please
talk with your child about their work. Remove the work on the leave at home
side to leave at home. Homework or papers to be returned to school should
be on the return to school side.
Both the agenda and Daily Folder should be brought to school each day.
