I grew up in Martin, Tennessee attending Westview High School. I graduated
from UTM with a degree in Music Education in 1998. After graduation, I moved
to Nashville and worked several years in a Music Events and Sales position.
I soon began to realize that I was called to teach and could not run away
from that calling any longer.
I moved back to Martin and earned my Masters in Advanced Elementary
Education. I began teaching in Kentucky where I also worked on and completed
endorsements in Gifted and Talented and Educational Administration and
Supervision. I then decided to come back to Tennessee to teach. This will
be my sixth year of teaching.

Administration and Supervision

I believe that all children can learn. I want to establish an environment
that encourages student learning success. I believe that you need to have
high expectations for all students. I want to partnership with my students'
parents to make fourth grade the best year possible.
