Volunteers

There are many ways in which I can use your help this year! If you would like to be a volunteer, the following list will give you some idea of the things which you might be doing.

• Working with students one-on-one that need adult guidance.
• Reading to children.
• Listening the children read.
• Cutting out materials that have been laminated.
• Helping with/sending items for parties.
• Assisting during special class activities or projects.
• Chaperoning on field trips.
• Making file folder games/literacy bags for the classroom.
• and MUCH, MUCH MORE!

Please remember that your presence in the classroom can sometimes make it difficult for your child or others to concentrate. If you are coming, make it clear to your child that your are here to help out and not to visit. There will be plenty of opportunities this year when we will welcome you to come in and simply enjoy spending time with your child.

I am also needing room mothers, dads, grandmas....ANYONE who will help coordinate these various activities.
