My name is Lorie McCaskill and I have taught in Grades K - 2 for 18 years.
This is my 8th year teaching in the Milan School District and has been my
most enjoyable teaching experience thus far. I attended Freed-Hardeman
University in Henderson, TN and received my BS in Elementary Education. I
am a Highly Qualified teacher with the state of Tennessee. I have been
married to Richard McCaskill for 26 years. He is a Consumer Sales Manager
for Regions Bank. My youngest son, Blake is currently attending Freed-
Hardeman University. My oldest son, Brett is employed by Wal-Mart. My newest
hobby is playing with my new grandson, Kaleb! He was born on June 28 of this
year. Richard and I reside at 3072 Salem Street in Milan.
The mission for my class is to involve students, families, MES faculty and
staff, and community in providing an inviting, safe atmosphere in which
students can achieve their full potential intellectually, socially,
emotionally, physically, and morally.
