Homework

Homework is to be turned in to the teacher the day after it is assigned and
it is to be done by the student.

There will be no written homework assigned on Wednesday nights and Friday
nights, but reading the week's story may be assigned even on those nights.
Spelling, Reading, and Vocabulary Words will be tested on Fridays, so these
need to be studied daily each week. (Ask me for tips on studying for these
tests if you are not sure.)

Math facts quizzes and Math skills in general will be tested every 5
lessons, so these could fall at any time.

Please check the agenda and Work folder that will be contained within
the "Buckeroo Binder" each night for notes, newsletters, and graded work and
homework.

I usually give very little homework. Please help your child to do the
homework assigned. He or she will need your help! The students at this age
are not usually capable of organizing themselves independently. Please do
not do the homework for the student, but read directions on worksheets, and
review the work done. You will see a pattern developing in what is required
for the homework. Encourage the student to do his or her neatest, best
writing!!!
