Announcements

            Please keep reading with your child nightly. Study the word 
lists by reading them over each evening and study the Spelling lists by 
writing them off several times if your child does not spell it correctly.  
We play Sparkle and have Spelling bees during the week to reinforce these 
skills.

             For Math, please practice math facts: doubles, +1, +0 and 
coming this week is -1. Your child has flashcards in his/her folder to 
practice with. 

             Remember that we are taking orders for the yearbook, and we are 
taking up field trip forms and money in the classroom.


              Please send your child dressed for the cool weather.  We play 
outside every day, so send weather-appropriate clothing and shoes.  Also, in 
the room it is often chilly.  Please send a light jacket or sweater if your 
child complains of being cool in the room.  The jacket must not have a hood 
and must be solid in color to wear it in the classroom.
