In August 2009, I started my 16th year of teaching. This will be
my 9th year at Milan Elementary. I taught Kindergarten for 7 years, 1st
grade for 7 years and am currently teaching 4th grade for the 2nd year. I
received my BS degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of
Tennessee at Martin. I am Highly Qualified by the State Department of
Education.
I have 2 daughters, Charlee and Hope. Charlee is in the 7th grade at
Milan Middle School and Hope is 3! I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and
traveling.
I look forward to having another terrific year in 4th grade!
The mission for my class is to involve students, families, MES faculty and
staff, and community in providing an inviting, safe atmosphere in which
students can achieve their full potential intellectually, socially,
emotionally, physically and morally.
