2nd 6wks. Concepts: short/long/small/large Basic handwriting strokes Writing from left to right Using inventive spelling to write words Counting objects to 20 and identifying the numbers Know the difference between numbers and letters Recall next two items in a sequence Print first and last name correctly

3rd 6 wks. Knows positions: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Copies and extends a pattern Identifies half of an object Counts to 25 Can say days of week Can say four seasons Ask questions and expresses ideas Knows use of a clock and thermometer
4th 6wks Recognizes money-pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters Recognizes color words and numbers words to ten Creates a real graph Know adding objects to a set forms a set with more objects Listens to predict Places events in order Recognizes rhyming words Counts by 10's to 100
