This year will begin my 9th year of teaching. Most of my
experience has been with kindergarten. I have taught 2nd grade for a year. I
also have taught 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades Language
Arts/Reading/Spelling for half a year. I believe my heart belongs in the
elementary school!
I graduated from Milan High School in 1993 and attended University of
Tennessee at Martin where I graduated in December of 2000. I am currently
working on my Master's degree in Curriculum and Supervision with an emphasis
in Computer Education.
I live at Concord with my husband, Rick, and our three children. I am also a
member of Double Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Gibson.
I look forward to working with you and your children this year!
The mission for my class is to involve families, students, MES faculty,
staff, and community in providing an inviting, safe atmosphere in which
students can achieve their full potential intellectually, socially,
emotionally, physically, and morally.
