Please check your child's backpack daily for important information! 2.BIRTHDAYS-Every child's birthday is important. Please contact me if you'd like to send in a special snack. We usually celebrate these in the afternoon. Cc 1.CALENDAR- You will receive a kindergarten calendar every month to let you know what's happening and the units/skills we will be covering during the month. Please post it somewhere for easy reference. 2.COMMUNICATION is important! Feel free to contact me whenever you have a question or concern. You can do this by note, phone call to the school office during planning or my email alexandern@milanssd.org! I will do my best to reply as quickly as possible. 3.CLOTHING-Please dress your child in manageable school clothing! A lot of times the child cannot zip or button his/her own pants. Don't forget to work on this skill with your child! Dd 1.DISCIPLINE-My system for discipline is simple. We work hard to make the classroom a positive and safe place for ALL. Rules are read and discussed daily. Problems are looked upon as just that--problems to be solved. Ee 1.EXCUSED-Absences will only be excused with a note from the parent, doctor or dentist. Don't forget to send a note when your child returns to school. Ff 1.FIELD TRIPS-We will be going on field trips. We always like for parents to go with us, but younger siblings will not be able to go along. I will ask for volunteers a few weeks before each field trip. 2.FUN-We are going to have lots of FUN this year! We need to be able to contact someone in the case of an emergency. The school office phone number is 731-686-0840. Jj 1.JOIN your child for lunch whenever you get a chance! You may eat lunch from the cafeteria or bring something in for your child. The only thing the school asks is the you NOT bring in carbonated beverages for your child.
