**Homework is essential in English class! You must complete all homework
when given. Please keep an agenda with you in class to write down all
assignments!
Report Cards for 1st Trimester will available on the 16th of Nov.
HONORS ENGLISH: Nov. 9-13
We have moved into the Dark Romantics and will be reading the poem "The
Raven", "Annabel Lee", and a few other pieces by Edgar Allan Poe.
A formal writing assignment will be assigned this week or possibly next Mon.
**A research paper will be completed during 2nd Trimester, so the students
will be working hard!**
Mon.- analyzation of the poem "The Raven" -homework will depend on discussion.
Tues.- continue analysis of poem and may watch a rendition of the poem.
Wed. -move into next Poe poem- "Annabel Lee"- discussion to follow. May give
writing requirements.
Thurs.- possible quiz- begin to move into short story "The Fall of the House
of USher" -questions will be for homework relating to the piece.
Fri.- catch up day!
REGULAR ED. ENGLISH: Nov. 9-13
This week we will begin moving into grammar review and will begin a creative
writing piece.
Be sure to have your Independent Reading Book everyday to receive credit. If
you finish your book, it is your job to go to the library when you can to get
another for class! READ READ READ!
