Carol Parkins graduated from Bethel College in 1988 with a Bachelor of
Science degeree in Psychology. In 1992, she earned her Master of Science in
Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin. In 2002, she completed
her Plus 30 Degree in Education from Cumberland University.
Ms. Parkins is married to Victor Parkins, and they have two children,
Jordan, 19, and Holly, 9. She is beginning her 18th year at Milan High
School and currently works with the 10th and 12th grades. She is the sponsor
for the Student Council.
The Mission of the School Counseling Department is to assist students in
growing personally, academically, and vocationally. Counselors assist
students in career exploration, course selection, test preparation and to
help with personal issues.
