About The Teacher
I graduated from Milan High School in 1983!!! I have a BS and a MS in Education from The University of TN at Martin. This is my 18th year to teach at various levels. I taught freshman level biology at UTM, 7th grade science at Martin Middle School, 8th grade math and science at Milan Middle School, and twelve years of Biology I, Biology II, and Anatomy and Physiology at Milan High School. I coached cheerleading at MHS for 5 years. I have a wonderful family. My husband is SFC Robert Hopper. He is a recruiter with the TN Army National Guard. This year we celebrated 29 years of wedded bliss. I have two fantastic children. Mandy is a pediatric nurse practitioner with West TN Healthcare in the JMCSS District. She and her husband, Anthony, reside in Milan. Dusty is an engineer in the TN Army National Guard and is currently attending UTM majoring in business management. On November 13, 2011 I became a grandmother. Ivan Hamilton Braswell is our new edition to the family and he is precious!
