Welcome to driver education at Milan High School. Our focus will be in our
textbook,"Drive Firs". On Monday, all students were issued a textbook and
information about the course. We will begin the course with classroom and it
last approximately three weeks prior to beind-the-wheel (laboratory).
Students should begin reading Chapter 1, "You are the Driver". On Tuesday,
our discussion will center around that chapter with test on chapter 1
schedule for Wednesday.
Also 11/10/09, students will be given a pretest to determine their precouse
knowledge level. This assessment will not be graded but will be used for
discussion on Thursday, November 12, 2003. Due to teacher absence on Tuesday
and Wednesday, students will be given a unit test (chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4)

Thursday, November 12 (Chapter 1 review and begin chapter 2 discussion)
Friday, November 13 (complete chapter 2, begin chapter 3 discussion)
Monday, November 16, 2009 - (Vocabulary words test due)
- Complete chapter 3 and begin chapter 4
discussion.
Tuesday, November 17, 2009 - complete chapter 4 discussion)
Wednesday, November 18, 2009 - Unit 1 (chapters 1, 2, 3, 4) Test
