Mr. Sheppard has been teaching high school for 23 years. A native
Californian, Mr. Sheppard taught for seven years in San Diego County, one
year in Millington, TN., and the last fifteen years in Milan. Mr. Sheppard
is also the Head Coach for the Milan Boys' Basketball program. He has been
the Milan coach for the last fifteen years. Mr. Sheppard is also the first
ever coach of the Milan Girls' Volleyball team now in its second year.
The mission of the Accelerated Algebra I/Geometry and the Algebra I class is
to help students learn techniques and methods that will help them solve all
kinds of problems that the class and life throw their way. We hope to learn
the basic methods , but also, some unique "out of the box" ways as well. All
the while, we will attempt to interject fun and exciting ways to accomplish
this. The mission of the ACT Prep class is to help students be as prepared as
possible for all facets of the ACT Test including English, Math, Reading, And
Science. We will focus on reviewing concepts and learning shortcuts and
strategies to help students on each part of the test.
