In my Reading 180 class,there is no homework on a daily basis.Students use
the Reading 180 Software indepently, providing them with intensive,
individualized skills practice.In small group instruction, I will work
closely with the students so that individual needs can be met. When your
child is absent, I will send the work that we completed in whole and small
groups. When your child is absent more than a day, please contact the school
office and make arrangemment to get the assignments.
Please check the agenda daily. This is a means that I will be using to
communicate with you about your child,if there is a problem or concern.
Beginning the week of September 13th through October, the students in
Reading 180 will discover how the fury of natural disasters impacts people's
lives. I will give extra credit to any student who will bring a magazine or
newspaper article about a natural disaster and share it with the class.
