PTO at Work for MJE

Kindergarten teachers organized a
Boo Hoo or Woo Hoo Breakfast for
the Kindergarten parents during
their phase-in days.

Mrs. Sloan's & Mrs. Downs'
classes enjoy their pizza party
for having 100% participation in
the School Spirit Drive!!!

Our first Chick-Fil-A Spirit
Night and poster contest.

Check out the shade!!

We now have 2 umbrellas on the
playgrounds!

All 3 playground areas have new
mulch and mats for under the
swings and slides...

Also, borders were purchased for
the lower playground to hold that
new mulch in place.

At the end of each school year,
PTO hosts a Teacher Appreciation
luncheon. Volunteers plan,
decorate, serve, clean up and
even watch each teacher's class
so that we can show our faculty
how much we appreciate their time
with our children!

The theme for 2009 was "Garden
Party". Springtime and gardening
decorations, tea party foods, a
hat contest and plenty of wonderful
door prizes made this another
successful PTO event.
