Thank you for all the donations for our Pioneer Days. I think we have everything we need now. You all are the best! I really appreciate how helpful you are. :)
 
Important Dates and Reminders:
No Spelling or Reading Words to study this week. We will not have new words until the week after Thanksgiving Break.
November 19th: Magic Show by Bruce Amato -The cost is $1 per child.
November 20th: Spelling Bee in the classroom - your child can study the word list that was sent home last week.
November 23rd-24th: Pioneer Days
November 25th-27th: Thanksgiving Holidays
December 4th: Ornament Day

Here is what we're learning about this week:
Reading: Read "Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving" and talk about the sequence of story events. Please see the "Family Times" for activities you can do at home with your child to support what he/she is learning in reading each week.
(NO Family Times this week).
Writing: Review of shapes, Journals 
Language Arts: Review
Phonics/Spelling: Review
Math:  Shapes
Science/Social Studies: Talk about Life Cycles (Science Studies Weekly)
