I grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I had a wonderful childhood and always
had fun playing school. I knew at an early age that I wanted to be a
teacher. I graduated with a B.S. Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary
Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I received my
Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Charleston
in Charleston, South Carolina.
This year will be my twenty-seventh year to teach. My teaching experience
has been in Kindergarten, First, Second, and Fourth grades. This is my
eighth year to teach 4th grade. I love teaching fourth graders. I find
them very refreshing and lots of fun to teach.
I am married and have a daughter in high school. I also have one spoiled
cat Daisy. I love to work in the yard, scrapbook, read, and spend time with
my family & friends.
