After working in the business world for twenty years, I went back to school
to become an elementary school teacher. I received my Master of Arts in
Teaching at Trevecca Nazarene University in 2008, and this is my second year
teaching kindergarten. I love it!
I am orginally from Louisiana where I received my B.S. in Business from
Louisiana Tech University. I don't have any brothers or sisters, but my
mother and extended family live in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Colorado.
I have a goddaughter, Savannah, who lives in Mt. Juliet who is 13 years old.
She is a sweetheart and my joy. My personal relationship with Jesus Christ is
the most important thing to me.
My favorite hobbies include reading, playing Scrabble, eating out, and as of
August, shopping for our classroom! My goal is to become the best
kindergarten teacher ever!
To establish a warm learning environment in which children will have the
opportunity to be challenged, be creative, and discover many new and
interesting things. I want the students to enjoy learning as they prepare for
first grade.
