Daily Procedures

            Daily Procedures
Lunch Money: Please send lunch ticket money on Monday for the week
($7.75).
Place money in an envelope with your child's name and teacher's name on the
outside of the envelope and place in their agenda pouch. We prefer
that children buy lunch tickets instead of bring money daily. If students
do bring money daily, children are responsible for keeping up with their
lunch money and change.

No Lunch Money or Lunch Box: Children are not allowed to charge their lunch.
They will be given a peanut-butter sandwich and milk. This is a school-wide
policy. Please discuss importance of keeping up with lunch money.

Snacks: Time will be provided in the afternoon for children to eat their
snack. You may send a snack each day. We will only be drinking water
during snack time which may be from the water fountain or brought from
home. Please do not send juice boxes, they are high and sugar and can
often be messy. We encourage you to send healthy snacks- please no candy,
chocolate, or gum, etc.

Agenda: Please encourage your child to bring their agenda
home and back to school every day. It is the parents' responsibility to
check the agenda for behavior purposes each night and for communication
purposes. Please initial each day's date in the agenda to show you have
checked the agenda, work, and notes from school. Each day will have a
colored stamp to indicate how your child is
behaving at school. (Colors are explained on discipline plan.)

Supplies: Students can purchase supplies from MJE bookstore or elsewhere.
Please label all tablets, school boxes, scissors, and glue bottles before
sending to school. Your child will need these supplies every day for
activities in the classroom. Please ask your child once a month if they need
new supplies such as crayons.

Dismissal: Students riding buses will be taken out to the appropriate
loading posts and car riders will be brought out at 2:15 p.m. If
your child is going home a way different than usual please send a note! We
will not allow a student to go home an alternate way without a note from
home or the office.

Expectations: Our students are expected to respect all adults in our school
and their authority while at school. Please encourage your child to always
be and do their best.

Thank you!
