I have been teaching for eighteen years. I have taught 9th, 10th, and 12th
grades. I currently teach 9th grade Honors English and 10th grade World
Studies. I also sponsor the Class of 2011 and Interact Club.
I am married and have two daughters, ages 20 and 16. I enjoy reading,
decorating, gardening, visiting with friends and family, roller coasters, and
music. I am also an avid sports fan with my favorites being high school and
college basketball and professional football.
I want my students to learn to appreciate the world around them, respect all
that it entails, and communicate with others effectively. I enjoy all that
secondary education is about - academics and extra-curricular - and hope my
students become well-rounded, happy, and successful citizens.
