I am a native of East Tennessee (Chattanooga) and a graduate of East Ridge
High School with a B.S. from Memphis State University and a Master's from
Covenant College in Administration and Supervision. Most of my 34 years in
Education has been in Memphis,Tn. This is my ninth year in Middle
Tennessee, as an educator.In the past 34 years I have taught numerous
subjects, of which Science has been major(Life, Earth, General and
Physical). I have coached Football, Basketball and Tennis at all grade
levels (7-12). I have been an Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, and a
Headmaster. Though most of my educational career has been at the High School
level, I have found teaching middle school to be quite a rejuvinating
challenge.
The students will develop a general foundation for science in the areas of
Life, Earth and Physical Sciences. They also will develop listening and
reading comprehension skills in order to master certain scientific concepts.
The students will also learn to take responsibility for their academic
grades and behavior. By doing so, they will become more prepared for each
year's advancement and learning.
