Oct. 19-20 - Students will begin Earth Science Voc. Students will write, define, draw a picture, and write a sentence using these words.

Oct. 21-22 - Students will finish voc. in class

Oct. 23 - Students will present words in class and correct any mistakes. Words will be turned in for a grade.

Oct. 26-27 Students will read chapter 8 pg. 220-241. For homework students will answer question pg. 246-267 1-10

Oct. 28-29 - Students will read chapter 9 pg. 252-279. For homework students will answer questions pg. 284-285 1-9

Oct. 30 - Students will begin researching information on their assigned object in space: comets, asteroids, meteoroids, nebulas, black holes, quasars, and pulsars from their book.

Nov. 2-3 - Students will research in the computer lab about their assigned object.

Nov. 4-5 - Students will combine and organize notes. Students will begin writing their persuasive essay in class.

Nov. 6 - Students will finish writing thier persuasive essay in class.

Nov. 9-10 Students will work on their power point presentation for their presentation.

Nov. 11-12 Students will finish power point presentations and work on speeches.

Nov. 13 Students will practice speeches.

Nov. 16-17 Students will present their power point presentations.

Nov. 18-19 Students will take Earth Science Test

Nov. 20 Students will read ch. 3 pg. 76-83

Nov. 23-24 Students will read ch. 5 pg. 124-139. For homework students will do pg. 144-145 1-8

Nov. 30-Dec. 1 Students will read pg. 150-172. For homework students will do pg. 178-179 1-9

Dec. 2-3 Students will read pg. 184-209. For homework students will do pg. 214-215 1-10

Dec. 4 Students will go through the Meterology webquest in class. Students will be assigned a day to predict the weather.

Dec. 7-8 Students will work on power points for their day usig maps and weather symbols.

Dec. 9-10 Students will present predictions. Exam Review

Dec. 11 Students will present predictions. Exam Review

Dec. 14-15 Students will present predictions. Exam Review

Dec. 16-17 Students will present predictions. Exam

Dec. 18 End of the 2nd Nine Weeks Reward Party - Students with 5 or less infractions are eligible for this reward.
