We reviewed class procedures.
We previewed our textbook, Elements of Literature.
8/4- We discussed facts about cobras.
Students read "Rikki-tikka-tavi", page 4 in the textbook.
Then, students wrote the ten main events from the story, page 4.
8/5- NO SCHOOL
8/6- Group Assignments were given out.
Students chose their role in their group.
Students reviewed guidelines.
Groups worked to complete their Rikki-tikki-tavi Summary, page 4.
8/9- Groups worked on Rikki- tikki- tavi Summary, page 4.
The class watched a snake video.
Students completed a fact or opinion worksheet, page 5 on the video.
Students completed Daily Grammar, page 6.
8/10-All students finished the summary on Rikki- tikki- tavi, page 4.
